As part of a refurbishment the heating system was updated to a modern specification. All major components were installed in the basement to save space in the bathroom, creating substancial storage space.

The existing boiler was running inefficiently (around 84%) and the hot water cylinder was also replaced allowing mains pressure hotwater, providing power shower performance without the power!

During the bathroom refurbishment, underfloor heating was fitted to both rooms, with all existing radiators replaced to all other rooms.

The heating controls were all replaced with Heatmiser thermostats installed to provide individual room control.

Following a flood to the property, the origional oil boiler was condemed as the casing had filled with water above the burner.

The descision was made to relocate the replacement reboiler to outside the property, enabling the removal of an unsightly stainless steel chimney and also to provide additional space in the kitchen.

The origional steel oil tank was showing some signs of rusting, so a new plastic tank was installed on a new base.

24 November 2010. Following extensive training at AGA / Rayburn in Telford we are please to announce we are now able to offer servicing, installation and commisionimng to AGA / Rayburn and all similar cookers and stoves.

 

02 November 2010. We are now able to provide BPEC training in underflloor heating and heat pumps.

 

22 October 2010. Now listed as a Grant Oil boiler installer.
